About Me

I focus on working with infants, children, and adolescents who have experienced trauma and complex trauma. I have a special interest in working with attachment and dissociative processes including children and adolescents who are living with dissociative identities, also known as dissociative identity disorder (although I disagree that it is a ‘disorder’!). In conjunction with my work with children and teens I love to work with parents and caregivers, incorporating them into the therapy and helping them to support their children to change big behaviors and manage intense feelings. I am committed to continued learning and am currently completing play therapy training for certification with the Canadian Association of Play Therapy. I receive regular supervision from a Certified Play Therapist Supervisor (CPT-S). In addition, I am an EMDR Child Specialist and provide EMDR integrated play therapy.
