About Me
Do you find yourself overwhelmed? Are you unable to relax, calm down, or find satisfaction in aspects of your life? Too often, life stressors related to employment, health, family, life transitions, or past traumas can be difficult to manage. Together, you and I can explore the barriers to happiness in your life and work to move beyond them. I can help you build skills, process traumatic situations, explore and change unhealthy or ineffective patterns, and develop practices to promote greater calm and overall well-being. We will work hard together, but we will often laugh together too. I utilize an eclectic approach; grounded largely in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and IFS-informed Ego State/Parts Work; and drawing additionally from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, and other therapeutic techniques. My results-oriented approach is aimed at connecting to your needs and responding with evidence-based interventions that bring about meaningful change. There is no need to settle for a life that is less than what you deserve. We can work collaboratively in a safe environment and without judgment, to move you through where you are now, to where you wish to be. I am EMDR certified and fully licensed to provide EMDR and other mental health services via telehealth therapy online in the following states/jurisdictions: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming Visit my website for more information and to schedule a free, 15-minute consultation.

I have worked in a variety of clinical environments including traditional and therapeutic schools; hospital, university, residential, and community mental health settings; group and private practice settings; and with individuals across the lifespan representing many unique clinical needs. I have extensive experience working with clients faced with challenges in many areas including, but not limited to, anxiety; depression and other mood disorders; neurodivergence; trauma; grief and loss; life transitions; LGBTQIA+ and identity issues; fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, and birth trauma; parenting challenges and special needs parenting; relationship issues; burnout;, self-esteem, and affirmative therapy for neurodiversity such as ADHD, autism, giftedness, learning disabilities, and twice-exceptionality. I am trained and certified in EMDR and use EMDR in my practice with my clients daily. In addition to my direct work with clients, I have proudly served as adjunct faculty for The Family Institute at Northwestern University; supporting the graduate education of therapists-in-training. I also present for schools, professional and parenting groups, and conferences throughout the area. Visit my website for more information and to schedule a free, 15-minute consultation.
