Craig Tucker, LCSW
About Me
In 2005 I attended the Clinical Training Program at the National Center for PTSD for advanced assessment techniques and treatment of trauma. In 2007 I was trained in the Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). I am both a certified as an EMDR therapist and a Cognitive Processing Therapy Quality Rated Provider. From 2005 through 2009, while still maintaining my private practice, I augmented my PTSD training with experience treating active duty soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines and their families. I accepted short term consultant and treatment team assignments at several bases in Europe, Washington DC, and New York, and for one year at the Marine Base in Twenty-nine Palms California. I am also certified in the Gottman Method therapist. As I worked with individuals suffering from trauma, it was also clear that there was a complex co-occurring relationship component that needed to be addressed. Gottman Method Relationship therapy is a trauma informed approach to treating couples.
