About Me

Healing begins with connection and acceptance. The things that happen to us may shape us, but they do not define who we are. My goal is to help you understand how your big and small traumas have impacted your choices to this point, and how to move forward into a healthier life. Many clients seek me out because they have experienced significant trauma that is impacting their daily lives. Others are experiencing anxiety, grief, spiritual issues, chronic illness, or other concerns related to life transitions. For couples and families, I seek to help them identify and alter the patterns in their relationships that are hindering connection and healing. Whatever it is that you are experiencing, I will come alongside you to work toward a healthier life. I am a trauma-informed therapist trained in EMDR therapy and I also incorporate methods from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and emotion-focused couples’ therapy according to the needs of my clients.
