About Me
My name is Cub Larkin, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, owner and therapist of Inclusive Therapy Group. I enjoy working with individual adults and relationships within the LGBTQAI+ communities. I also work with clients who identify as kinky, into BDSM, or in dominant/submissive relationships. I fully support those who are in, or interested in navigating, an open relationship or ethical/consensual non-monogamy. I leverage a multitude of different strategies to help my clients, ranging from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to EMDR. With Cognitive Behavioral Therapy we look at how your actions and emotions interact with your way of thinking. I like to describe EMDR as a car wash for your brain and traumatic memories. Just as fabrics wipe away dirt from a car, using eye movements or tapping can integrate problematic memories to make them less triggering. From lived experience, I relate to those in the LGBTQIA+, recovery, kink, and ethically non monogamous communities. I know first hand the struggles of finding a therapist who is competent and who understands you. You will find a warm, empathic, objective, non judgmental environment when we are in session together. We will work together on goals that are meaningful in your life. If you are dealing with a traumatic past or PTSD, identity, sexuality, depression, anxiety, substance use or abuse challenges and feel stuck in your life, I welcome you to reach out and see how we can help.
