About Me

I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, trauma, OCD, life-adjustment, and addiction. I am highly specialized in treating complex trauma including childhood abuse, spiritual trauma, neglect, and chronic unhealthy relationships. I also have advanced training in addressing dissociation, avoidance, and other psychological defenses that can interfere with the treatment process. I am focused on helping you alter the way you experience your emotional pain and distress in order to focus your attention and efforts on living the life you want. I also offer intensive EMDR treatment. EMDR intensives are highly concentrated sessions, occurring for 4-6 hours per day over the course of 3-5 days. This structure allows you to focus solely on healing, growth, and find long-lasting improvement. Research demonstrates that EMDR intensives are as effective as weekly therapy. However, intensives allow you to condense treatment down to one week instead of attending weekly therapy for an extended period of time.
