About Me
Since EMDR became an integral part of my clinical practice, I have witnessed some of the most incredible and transformational results as this powerful modality helps clients break through some of their most deeply rooted or long-held beliefs, blocks, traumas, and challenges. I have advanced training in attachment, trauma, addiction, and performance. I am excited to work with motivated clients that are ready to tackle their challenges together in a safe, supportive, and often playful way. Therapy can be tough and serious work. A strong, trusting connection along with a sense of humor and curiosity can yield some pretty amazing results. Since I provide EMDR in an intensive/adjunct format, if you'd like to use insurance, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company as an out of network provider for reimbursement. I look forward to what we can accomplish together!
Education & Experience
I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern Oregon University. I am also a master level Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC III). Currently, I work as the director for a mental health and substance treatment agency while also maintaining a small private practice. Previously, I worked as a therapist for an assertive community treatment team, jail diversion, and community corrections, and was part of an interdisciplinary mental health court team.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I serve on SOU's human services advisory panel, and am the board vice-president for Recovery Cafe Medford/Reclaiming Lives. I have also served as an adjunct professor in the psychology department at Southern Oregon University.
