About Me
My approach is built upon warmth and collaboration, aiming to address challenges within a safe environment. Together, we will work to understand into your difficulties, nurturing self-compassion and embracing acceptance, while seeking avenues toward constructive change and breaking unhelpful patterns. Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, emotional struggles, staying grounded in the present, relationship stressors, or managing distress, our sessions provide a space to explore past experiences while acquiring coping mechanisms for present stressors and building towards a fulfilling future. I utilize EMDR and a somatic approach, using the mind-body connection to release past trauma that is stored in the body and memory. Using a DBT and CBT-informed approach, I will help you develop skills to manage distress, regulate emotions, and improve relationships, while increasing mindfulness and understanding of why current struggles have developed and continue. I believe the most compassionate and effective service I can provide as a therapist is to help my clients work towards their own goals. I am genuinely interested in getting to know you and helping you work towards a fulfilling and meaningful future. If you have any questions or would like to connect to set up a session, please do not hesitate to reach out.
