About Me
I believe that everyone can benefit from attending therapy at least once within their lifetimes. Attending therapy offers the opportunity for you to share your story and to feel supported and seen for who you truly are. Therapy can be challenging and can push you to reconsider detrimental cognitive beliefs and with time, therapy can lead to a period of intense personal growth and peace of mind. As a therapist, my focus is two-fold. To acknowledge and heal the previous hurt you’ve experienced throughout your lifetime while also teaching you the skill sets to be able to address future periods of pain. I want my clients to deepen their self-awareness so that they can strive towards self-sufficiency and cognitive health. I specialize in treatment for adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD). My primary objective as a therapist is to build trust and respect with my clients so that they feel comfortable exploring vulnerable and difficult topics with me. I practice trauma informed care and I utilize several different psychological approaches that I tailor to each individual and their specific needs.
