About Me
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State and a Clinical Supervisor at Satya Wellness Collective, where I provide trauma-informed care and supervise clinicians in their professional growth. I am also the owner of Deanna Midori Counseling, PLLC, a private practice dedicated to supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, relational challenges, and identity-related stressors. My clinical work is grounded in the belief that healing happens when individuals feel deeply seen, culturally understood, and emotionally safe. I specialize in working with trauma through an attachment-focused and culturally responsive lens, with particular attention to supporting BIPOC clients and those with complex trauma histories. I am trained in EMDR therapy and integrate it with parts work, somatic awareness, and relational approaches to support clients in moving toward meaningful and lasting change.
Education & Experience
I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State. I am trained in EMDR therapy and have advanced training in trauma treatment, including intimate partner violence and sexual trauma, with ongoing education in attachment-based, parts-informed, and somatic approaches.
