About Me

I enjoy working with teens, adults and couples, for all types of trauma and attachment related issues, from anxiety to OCD to relationship stresses to PTSD to Dissociative Disorders. I utilize a combination of approaches tailored to each individual, to help them work through their inner blocks, leave past stressors behind and find new ways of being in the world. I love seeing people get unstuck from past experiences, and I love supporting creative people in their processes. I offer a culturally sensitive, nonjudgmental approach and can support individuals recovering from all types of systemic traumas, including religious trauma.

Education & Experience

I attended Antioch University of Santa Barbara, graduated with an MACP in Clinical Psychology specializing in Somatic Psychotherapies (Hakomi, Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy). I then received a certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy from Northwest Creative & Expressive Arts Institute, and completed EMDR Level I training through Scaling Up. I've taken trainings in all types of creative arts: drama, movement, dance, journaling, poetry, visual arts, sandtray, music, voice, play, Oaklander; dissociative disorders, religious trauma, parts work including IFS, and TF-CBT. I've also learned alternate EMDR approaches including 4 Blinks and somatic processing, and enjoy continuing to learn and develop my skills.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

I co-coordinate a monthly expressive arts therapy alumni group, participate in EMDR consultation groups and expressive arts process groups.
