University of St. Thomas/College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, MN with a Master' s Degree in Social Work. B.S. in Social Work from Augsburg College in Minneapolis. Collaborating Clinician Investigator in the Field Trials for the Fifth Edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5). Deborah has worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families faced with a variety of life stresses such as attention deficit disorder, phobias, anger issues, parenting, depression, anxiety, bereavement, marital problems, divorce, homelessness, incarcerated women, and financial strain. She also has received specialized training in sexual violence and crisis intervention, completed training in working with military families dealing with stress and the impacts of war-related trauma. Deborah has been in her own practice since 2009. Prior to that, she was with a group practice and worked in community health centers as a psychotherapist.
