About Me

I specialize in helping you resolve traumatic and painful experiences from a trauma-informed lens, within a neurobiological and attachment framework. I am certified and experienced in EMDR, an empirically validated treatment approach with the highest success rate in treatment of trauma. I am also trained in and provide Brainspotting, another sub-cortical trauma treatment approach that emerged from EMDR. I am a certified yoga teacher with specialized training in Trauma Sensitive Yoga, an evidence-based somatic treatment which helps to ground and empower survivors of chronic abuse. The approach we take with your treatment will be tailored to your specific needs, strengths, interest, and comfort through collaborative discussion and as you feel ready. It is my passion to help others grow from victim to victorious survivor, helping you to resolve dissonance between your beliefs and your experiences, facilitate harmony between thoughts and emotions, and create empowerment by strengthening internal and external supports. I have walked this road, and I have helped many others navigate successfully and safely down this seemingly unsurpassable road, too. Healing is possible. Freedom awaits at the other side.
