About Me
I am a licensed therapist with over 10 years of experience specializing in trauma, including complex trauma and the effects of domestic violence. I work primarily with adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, emotional distress, or patterns rooted in past experiences and are seeking meaningful, lasting change. As an EMDR therapist, I help clients process traumatic and distressing experiences in a safe, structured, and empowering way. EMDR can be especially effective for individuals impacted by complex or long-term trauma, including abusive or unsafe relationships, where symptoms may include hypervigilance, emotional numbness, difficulty trusting others, or negative beliefs about oneself. I integrate EMDR within a trauma-informed, client-centered framework, always prioritizing safety, choice, and pacing. I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels supportive, non-judgmental, and collaborative. Many of the individuals I work with have survived domestic violence or chronic relational trauma and are navigating the process of rebuilding a sense of safety, identity, and self-worth. My role is to help you strengthen coping skills, process painful experiences, and reconnect with your resilience as you move toward greater stability and empowerment. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
Education & Experience
Since 2016, I have worked in the mental health field providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families. My clinical experience spans a variety of settings, allowing for a well-rounded, trauma-informed approach to care. Over the course of my career, I have worked with diverse populations and has developed extensive experience supporting clients impacted by trauma, complex trauma, and relational abuse. I began the process of EMDR certification in July 2024. I continue to engage in ongoing professional development to maintain best practices and provide ethical, effective care.
