About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Virginia looking to serve the community of Northern Virginia and Loudoun County with individual, family, and couples therapy. I specialize in trauma-based process work and use EMDR, among other therapeutic modalities. I meet my clients where they're at and use a warm, authentic approach to connect and help my clients no matter where they are in their mental health journey.
Education & Experience
MSW from Kennesaw State University (Kennesaw, GA) BA in Psychology from University of Georgia (Athens, GA) 5+ years of experience working in residential treatment centers, inpatient hospitals, community based mental health agency, refugee resettlement agency, eating disorder residential facility, outpatient (PHP, IOP) for adults, outpatient services and private practice; variety of diagnoses (see below) with ages from 12-55; will accept under 12 years of age on an individualized basis. The primary modalities I utilize in therapy is a person-centered approach with CBT, ACT, DBT, MI and EMDR Therapy focus.
