About Me

I became a therapist later in life in my 40s and have been working in this field for 3+ years. I have been licensed since 2024. I am passionate about supporting others. I consider my own experiences as a mother of teen daughters, 20+ years of marriage, my experience of parental loss and supporting an aging parent, as well as my roles as a friend and a sister as part of my extensive training. I love living in San Diego and am passionate about expanding my knowledge in the realms of traditional and non-traditional therapeutic modalities. I am a firm believer in the practice of attending to body, mind, and spirit in order to maintain a balanced life and to be able to create a safe and grounded space for my clients.

Education & Experience

I graduated from the University of San Diego with an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2022. My practicum experience was working in perinatal mental health at the UCSD Reproductive Medicine Dept in San Diego, CA. I have worked in private practice since 2022 supporting both adult individuals and couples supporting a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relational issues, and life transition challenges. Along with my training in EMDR I have also been trained in Gottman Level 1, completed the EFT 4-day externship, and have begun training and practicing providing Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy.
