About Me
I'm neurodivergent-friendly, an LGBTQ+ ally, anti-racist, feminist, affirming, COVID-conscious, and pro-human rights. I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gottman Method, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. You must live in Virginia, Kansas, or Washington state to work with me.
Education & Experience
I received a Master’s Degree in 2004 from the COAMFTE-accredited Marriage and Family Therapy program at Central Connecticut State University. My areas of particular clinical interest are systems theory, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Gottman Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and EMDR therapy. My approach is person-centered, skills-based, and empathetic.
