Education & Experience

Betsy has previous experience in wilderness therapy and in-home services, working primarily with youth and their families who have experienced trauma and attachment wounds. Betsy is an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist with specialized training in doing EMDR with attachment, pre-verbal, and complex trauma. She is also trained to provide 7 Challenges, DBT-informed practices, Child Centered Play Therapy, CBT, Positive Parenting Practices, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. She offers an option to include her dog, Norm, in sessions providing Animal Assisted Therapy services.
