About Me
After many years of practicing more traditional talk therapy, I found EMDR. My practice is rooted in a collaborative, relational approach. I prioritize taking time to get to know you and learning with you how to create an experience of connection, trust, and safety. If you have trouble finding words to describe your experiences or have found that despite repeatedly talking about experiences, your old patterns and messages haven’t really changed, EMDR could offer another way. The greatest power of EMDR is that it is truly an “inside job.” Rather than hearing a therapist offer new insights (that you may logically understand, yet find it difficult to truly believe), you can receive these directly from the wisdom of your own nervous system.
