About Me
Most of my experience is with the LGBTQIA+ community, trauma work, anxiety /depression, and in facilitating positive change in thought patterns and in forming healthier habits. I also work with folks who are looking to cultivate healthy relationships, and live their most genuine and authentic life. If you are looking for a safe and supportive space to process difficult feelings and an affirming and friendly therapist, I can help. We will work together to help you gain greater insight into yourself and your experiences as well as learn EMDR related tools and skills to help you manage and get through challenging situations. Using both my expertise in EMDR and other modalities of psychotherapy and your expertise on yourself, your feelings and your experiences we will collaborate to get you to your full potential. Our work will focus on building a trusting , respectful and safe therapeutic relationship where you feel safe to express yourself fully and feel confident in being able to navigate your life in an emotionally safe way. Through our work together you might explore core beliefs and personal narratives that may be barriers to living your most authentic life and capitalize on the strengths you already have to overcome them. Furthermore I take a nonjudgmental and supportive stance to assist you in challenging yourself to make any changes that will work best for you. My ultimate goal of our work together is to assist you in processing and navigating your difficult feelings and past experiences by attuning to to your needs, building a supportive therapeutic relationship, and helping you strengthen trust and connection to your own feelings and your judgment. We will work together to minimize the impact of any past experiences, memories or feelings that have been holding you back.
