About Me

Transitioning through life can feel challenging, especially when we're not sure of our ability to handle changes with confidence. Difficulty navigating changes can negatively impact our relationship with ourselves and others. Erica works with adolescents, young adult, and adult clients who are struggling with ineffective patterns that impede their quality of life. In therapy, Erica support clients in discovering effective strategies to manage distressing emotions, cope with current stressors, gain insights, and build resilience. She embraces a collaborative approach to understand client's histories and the patterns they would like to shift. Erica draws from different modalities she has been trained in, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), to support clients with trauma, transitions, anxiety, attachment, depression, perinatal mood disorders, and grief. She especially enjoys working with prenatal and postpartum individuals and families. Her therapeutic style is warm and energetic.

Erica guides clients through an eight phase process to help diminish the emotional impact of distressing memories. She equips clients with relevant coping strategies, empowering them to apply newfound insights in their everyday lives. Erica is currently in consultation to become a certified EMDRIA provider. Erica received comprehensive training from Postpartum Support International (PSI) and obtained her Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C). She provides support to birthing individuals and families navigating the unique emotional challenges of the perinatal period, including pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
