Dr. Evangeline Lehr, PhD

About Me
Dr. Lehr specializes in mood and anxiety issues, often with a focus on perinatal and/or trauma-related experiences. She completed training in Interpersonal Psychotherapy with a focus on the perinatal population as well as training in EMDR. She has worked and trained in public and private hospital settings throughout NYC and received postdoctoral fellowship training at the Karen Horney Clinic. She holds a B.A. in Psychological and Brain Sciences from Dartmouth College. As a second generation Korean-American clinician, Dr. Lehr is especially keen to promote resilience and recovery among immigrants and people of color. She works to create an affirming therapy environment for each of her clients.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
In addition to her work at Center Psychology Group, Dr. Lehr also serves as a clinical supervisor for the Safran Center for Psychological Services at the New School for Social Research, where she completed her Ph.D. in clinical psychology.
