Education & Experience

Graduated from Columbia University School of Social Work, 1969; Worked as a medical social worker and elementary school social worker in New York City prior to moving to Amherst, MA in 1994 and becoming a full-time clinical social worker. Trained in EMDR in 1999. Became an EMDR Institute Facilitator in 2001. Became an EMDRIA Approved Consultant in 2003. Became an EMDR HAP/Trauma Recovery Facilitator in 2005. Have taught a postgraduate Seminar on the Integration of Ego State Therapy and EMDR each year since 2008. Each year I teach weekend workshops around the country, "An Introduction to the Integration of Structural Dissociation, Ego State Therapy and EMDR Therapy." An optional 3rd day workshop uses these 3 lenses to address the treatment of client with Dissociative Identity Disorder. Trained in Narrative Therapy 1994 to present. Trained in Energy Psychology in 1998. Trained in Ego State Therapy 2001 to present. Trained in Structural Dissociation 2010 to present.
