(She/Her)
About Me
Felishia is trained in both Trauma and Grief, with other areas of specialties including Depression, Anxiety, Self-esteem, and Stress Management. She is also EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained and working toward certification. Outside of being a therapist, Felishia loves spending time with her dog, Bella, and her family. Felishia enjoys kayaking and is currently training for her first powerlifting competition.
Education & Experience
Felishia graduated from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology along with a Masters in Social Work from Edinboro University. She started her career as a Children’s Intensive Case Manager and then worked in a Family Based Mental Health Program, where she studied the Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT) model. She incorporates much of what she has learned into her current role as an Outpatient Therapist. Felishia specializes in working with adolescents and older who have experienced some form of trauma, whether this be past and/or current. She utilizes many modalities, such as art, movement, CBT, DBT, ESFT, mindfulness, EMDR and many more to work towards healing. She is a strong believer that therapists must meet the clients where they are, which entails many forms of intervention.
