About Me
I am an EMDR certified therapist practicing over telehealth in Kentucky, Indiana, and Minnesota. I draw from EMDR and other evidence-based therapies and theories, including attachment theory, polyvagal theory, Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and ego state/parts work. I take an integrative approach to finding the unique way to best support each client. I believe that different areas of wellness are connected, and that our wellness is deeply connected to our contexts—our relationships, families, communities, and cultures—bringing an intersectional feminist and anti-oppressive lens to exploring these influences. I take a collaborative approach, trusting the expertise that each person holds about their own experiences, and working with clients to identify goals, strengths, barriers. I work to create a safe space for clients with flexibility, respect, empathy, humor, and curiosity. In addition to private practice, I am a consultant in training and a facilitator in Sue Genest's EMDR basic training practica and case consultation. I have additional training in integrative approaches to EMDR including in working with chronic pain and attachment based Imaginal Nurturing.
