Georgina Dahill, LMFT
About Me
Since 2007, I have provided psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families including children and adolescents. I have worked with victims of trauma in local non-profit organizations such as CALM and Family Service Agency and utilize evidence-based practices such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) within a Family Systems theoretical orientation. My approach is direct, but warm and accepting. I provide a safe environment to facilitate emotional healing and individualize therapeutic work for clients building on the existing strengths I believe all humans possess. Prior to my psychotherapy work, I worked as an educator for over 20 years teaching diverse populations in local and international locations. I have been happily married for more than 30 years, and together we have two sons. I enjoy being with family and friends, reading, cycling, yoga, and experiencing nature in a variety of ways.
