About Me
How do we let go? This can be a central question in therapy, for working with trauma, addictions, grief, relationships. I come to this work from an understanding of Buddhist psychology, where we look at all of our attachments and how they effect us. EMDR can be an amazing way to help loosen the grip of the attachments that define us in a harmful way. My work is very relational and collaborative, and I try to use non-traditional modalities, like art and nature, wherever possible. When not working, I enjoy reading, playing instruments, and exploring the mountains and rivers of the Pacific Northwest with my family and dogs.
Education & Experience
I graduated as a Marriage and Family therapist from Lewis & Clark College, and have been working since 2018. After graduate school, I worked in community mental health, small group practice, and my own private practice. As an educator, I helped begin the first nonprofit psilocybin facilitator training, and also teach ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.
