Mrs. Hannah Philbin, LMFT, LPCC
About Me
I am a product of grace and mercy, and the benefactor of support, compassion, and at times, tough counsel. Through this, my life became lighter and I came to know what I can best describe as peace. (though fleeting) It made such a difference for me, that I trained to offer the same or similar to others. I live in Sonoma. Married, no kids, lots of animals. Love endurance sports.
Education & Experience
I hold a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sonoma State. Some educations are a mile wide and an inch deep, while others are an inch wide and a mile deep. The SSU program is known for a broad education focused on building relationships and the ability to hold whatever enters the room. Outside of school, I have experience with Hospice, a variety of 12 Step Groups, Trauma, Transactional Analysis, Transitions, Gottman Couples work, Traumatic Brain Injury, Chronic Pain, Anxiety, EMDR, and PTSD. My traineeship was at a therapeutic school and residential facility for young men, focused on trauma-informed care. I expect to be a student for life, actively pursuing training.
