About Me
I am the owner of Ascent Christian Counseling, a private practice. I hope to provide a safe place for you to share your needs while also providing you with specific tools to make the changes you desire in your life. In our first session together, you can expect to be heard and encouraged as we discuss what has brought you to counseling. From there we will begin learning new strategies to foster growth and change.
Education & Experience
I graduated with my master's degree in marriage and family therapy from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2016. I have worked both in community and private practice settings treating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, OCD, ADHD, and ASD. I currently own my own practice and specialize in anxiety /OCD and trauma. I am working towards my registered play therapist credentials and incorporate play therapy with my children and teens.
