About Me
I understand the weight of anxiety, perfectionism, and self-doubt because I’ve seen how deeply they can affect every aspect of life. I’m passionate about helping people who struggle to feel good—whether in their minds, bodies, or relationships. My work is rooted in understanding how past experiences, from stressful childhoods to complicated family dynamics and painful relationships, shape the way we navigate the world. I also have a special interest in supporting women in managing chronic health conditions like endometriosis, pelvic pain, and other invisible illnesses. I know how overwhelming and isolating these challenges can be, and I strive to offer a compassionate space where you can process the emotions that come with them.
Education & Experience
I am a licensed professional counselor and supervisor in Texas and have a master's degree from Texas State University. Before becoming a full-time therapist I worked in Texas schools for 18 years, first as a history teacher and then as a secondary school counselor. My clinical training is in attachment, complex trauma, IPNB, ego states and parts work, and dissociation. I use this skill set to complement my work with EMDR. Please stop by my website for more information about me.
