About Me

When you’re looking for a therapist, “fit” is key. Working with someone whose personality and approach resonates with you will make all the difference. Each individual is the expert in their own life, within therapy, I’m here to work collaboratively with you to uncover your existing strengths, process your experiences in a safe space, build resiliency, and overcome personal roadblocks. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a special interest in PTSD treatment, childhood/adult trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, post-relationship recovery, attachment challenges, self-image, mood and anxiety disorders. I am inspired by adults and teen clients who are motivated to build their inner resources, shift long-held life narratives, and develop resilience with a readiness to explore their past. The connection to our own personal narratives is paramount to the foundations in which we build our lives and therefore vital in our healing process. My expertise and specialization begins with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and as well as Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I am a EMDRIA registered EMDR Certified Therapist having undergone formal training. I have completed certification and training in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Trauma-Informed therapy training,Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Meditation Mindfulness. Additionally, I am a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher with over 200 hours of training and 300 independent hours of teaching.
