Dr. HOLLY MCFARLAND, Psy.D
About Me
I lead with empathic listening. From years of study of understanding the human experience through various lenses, I guide people into getting very specific with the images, thoughts, and feelings at the root of their suffering. In getting specific and clear on what is triggering one's pain, with gentle precision and an open mind, we then move towards listening to what that pain wants us to see and understand in order to bring resolution and equilibrium to our relationship with ourselves, with others, and with the greater world. I use a robust protocol, both through EMDR and other methods, to create a reliable structure through which one's own wisdom and creativity can emerge. I want my clients to be able to cultivate tools they can use on their own to end their suffering through their own innate capacities of inquiry, wisdom, and intelligence.
