Dr. HOLLY MCFARLAND, Psy.D
About Me
I lead with listening. From years of studying the human experience through various lenses, I guide people into getting very specific with the images, thoughts, and experiences at the root of their suffering. In getting specific and clear on what is triggering one's pain, with gentle precision and an open mind, we then move towards listening to what that pain is offering us in order to bring understanding, resolution and equilibrium to our relationship with ourselves, with others, and with the world at large. I use robust protocols, both through EMDR and other modalities, to create a reliable structure through which one's own wisdom and creativity can emerge. My goal is for my clients to get connected to their own innate capacities of inquiry, wisdom, and intelligence. It takes courage, attention, and support for life, understanding, and compassion to mature. I have effective tools and love sharing them with those who want them.
