Hui Wen Tong

About Me

Hui Wen is a licensed therapist who works with adults, children, and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, attachment wounds, and dissociation. Her approach is relational and integrative, combining EMDR, attachment-based models, and trauma-informed care to support clients in reconnecting with safety, meaning, and a deeper sense of self. Outside the counselling clinic, she is a martial artist who holds a fourth-degree black belt in Ninjutsu and a second-degree black belt in taekwondo. Hui Wen believes that martial arts are great at teaching psychological flexibility and emotional awareness, and provide a profound therapeutic doorway for those who are searching for ways to express themselves without the use of words. Hui Wen is from Ipoh, and she speaks English, Malay, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
