About Me
I’m Inbal Gurari, a trauma-specialized psychotherapist and founder of Resilience Within Therapy in Scottsdale, Arizona. I work with individual adults impacted by emotionally unsafe or controlling relationships, including emotional neglect or abuse in childhood and relational trauma later in life. Many clients come to me feeling chronically unsure of themselves, tense, or self-doubting even when life appears stable on the outside. I am trained in EMDR and integrate it within a relational, attachment-informed, and nervous-system-aware approach. My work emphasizes pacing, internal safety, and respect for each client’s lived experience rather than pushing for insight or rapid change. EMDR is used thoughtfully, as part of a broader trauma-informed framework, to support lasting internal shifts rather than symptom management alone. I have extensive experience working with attachment-related patterns and the long-term nervous-system effects of environments that did not feel psychologically safe. I am EMDR-trained and integrate EMDR within a relational, attachment-informed, and nervous-system-aware framework. My approach emphasizes careful pacing, internal stability, and client collaboration, particularly for individuals with complex or developmental trauma histories. In addition to EMDR, my work is informed by advanced training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and trauma-informed relational therapy. I work exclusively with individual adults and provide therapy in person in Scottsdale, Arizona, as well as via telehealth across Arizona, California, and Massachusetts.
