Dr. Indra Gonzalez Juarez, PsyD
About Me
I am a licensed clinical psychologist passionate about cultivating a genuine therapeutic relationship with my clients, where they can feel seen, safe, and empowered. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. I am currently only working with children 9 years and older, adolescents, and young adults up to 30 years old. I take an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy. I understand that clients and their families have unique experiences, values, and identities that influence their perspectives. As a bilingual, bicultural, and culturally humble clinician, I seek to incorporate these individualities and considerations throughout the treatment process. I support clients and their families in making sustainable changes that align with their values and goals. I utilize a process-oriented and relational approach to therapy with core foundations in psychodynamic theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and a systems theoretical framework. I am also trained in evidence-based therapeutic approaches like: EMDR, narrative exposure therapy, sandtray, and play therapy.
