About Me

My journey as a therapist began when I volunteered with Voices For Children as a Court Appointed Special Advocate. Not only did I come to understand the need for therapists, but it also brought me a sense of fulfillment to be able to help, advocate for my clients, watch them grow, and maximize their potential. I focus on the needs of my client and the presenting problem in order to ascertain the best therapeutic approach. I frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In addition, I also focus on the Mind-brain-body connection. I specialize in working with children and adolescents who suffer from depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, ADHD, and eating disorders. In addition, I work with young and middle-aged adults who suffer from PTSD, generational trauma, panic disorder, psychosis, agoraphobia, depression, and anxiety.

I attained my Bachelors degree in Psychology from San Diego State University and my master's degree in Social Work from Cal State University San Marcos
