About Me
Jackie is a seasoned mindfulness practitioner who regularly attends silent retreats. She skillfully guides clients in cultivating self-awareness and accessing their inner strengths. She has a profound interest in trauma treatment, a trauma-informed therapist who incorporates approaches such as EMDR, mindfulness-based interventions, somatic psychology, polyvagal theory, neurobiology, attachment theory, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Grounded in mindfulness, she helps clients navigate their window of tolerance with skill and confidence.
Education & Experience
Jackie has a Master Degree in Guidance and Counselling, is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level 2 (CCTP-II), a Full Member of EMDR Singapore, and is trained to work with dissociative conditions, including DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder). Jackie is also a National Career Development Association (NCDA) certified career counselor (CCC). Jackie’s diverse career journey—from multinational corporations to the helping and education industry—has equipped her with a unique blend of global business experience and deep expertise in career coaching and counseling.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
Since 2013, Jackie has volunteered with the Singapore Prison Service, providing group counseling and psychoeducation on topics including substance addiction, social reintegration, anger management, informed decision-making, and mindfulness. In recognition of her dedication, she received the Singapore Prison Service 10-Year Long Service Award in 2023.
