About Me

As an EMDR-trained therapist, I strive to create a safe, empathetic, and validating environment for clients to process their trauma, so they can heal and become the best version of themselves. The only thing worse than living through a traumatic event, are the after affects that impact the present day. These affects may include mood instability, flashbacks, depression, irritability, anxiety, hyper-vigilance, isolation, maladaptive behaviors, and more. Past trauma has the ability to change our worldview in the present, contributing to an ongoing sense of danger, fear, hopelessness, and shame. That's why, as a therapist, I use an array of here-and-now techniques to assist clients in re-establishing a sense of safety. My goal as a clinician is to create a safe environment for clients to foster growth and promote healing. As your therapist, I promise to dedicate time, effort, and extensive training to best assist you with troubling symptoms causing dysfunction. Outside of EMDR work, I offer an empathetic and nonjudgmental environment to help all clients feel understood and met with unconditional positive regard.

Education & Experience

I am an EMDR-trained, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Certified Trauma Professional (CTP) in the state of New Jersey. I graduated from Rutgers University with a Master's Degree in Social Work. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, domestic violence, & co-occurring disorders. My main treatment approach is Eye Movement Desensitization and Re-processing (EMDR), which focuses on helping clients adequately process traumatic memories and negative experiences that are currently causing distress. EMDR is also effective for things such as anxiety, depression, addiction, self-esteem issues, and more. In addition to EMDR, I conduct therapy through an attachment-based lens, prioritizing the relationship between myself & my client.
