Dr. Jaime Henle, PsyD
(She/her)
Preferred Name: Jaime
About Me
Jaime Henle is a licensed psychologist and provides individual therapy with adults (18 and older). She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is also an EMDR-Sandtray Specialist. The EMDR Sandtray Protocol uses EMDR’s 8 phases of treatment while incorporating Sandtray procedures. For clients who struggle with verbalizing their trauma, the Sandtray offers them an opportunity to tell their story with figures in the Sandtray, with the distance that may be needed. After a person tells their story in the tray, EMDR procedures (i.e., bilateral stimulation) will be combined with this technique. It has been found that the combination of these techniques have been very successful in treating complex trauma. Dr. Henle also specializes in chronic pain and utilizes the mind-body work of John Sarno, MD and Nicole Sachs, LCSW. Their work believes that your brain and nervous system creates pain symptoms in order to aid in the repression of unconscious thoughts and feelings. The goal of this work is to express repressed emotions which will help your nervous system go from fight or flight to rest and repair. Dr. Henle provides in person and telehealth sessions.
Education & Experience
Dr Henle received a PsyD from Nova Southeastern University and has been a psychologist in private practice since 2008. She was trained in EMDR in 2010.
