Dr. James Francis Jr., Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Preferred Name: James
About Me
I can relate to people of all cultures as a first-generation Jamaican-American. I struggled to fit in growing up which contributed to my childhood anger. After I learned to understand my feelings, these powerful emotions became my allies in helping me then others understand their feelings and behavior. The training I have received in EMDR has allowed me to help individuals overcome the most intrusive thoughts or memories and reclaim a life they thought would be plagued with trauma forever.
