About Me
I’m a therapist and licensed clinical social worker serving the greater San Jose area. I entered the helping field after embarking on my own healing journey during my college years. My lived experience instilled an immense amount of compassion and purpose in me. I absolutely love my job and I am honored by those who entrust me with their stories.
Education & Experience
I attended the University of Southern California for my Master’s degree in Social Work with specializations in Mental Health and Systems of Recovery. I also have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and extensive post-graduate training in treating trauma, eating disorders, anxiety and depression using EMDR, Somatic Therapy, and Internal Family Systems/Parts Work. Since entering the mental health field in 2011, I have worked in a wide variety of settings including private practice, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment programs, the emergency room and a high school. I’ve created a program serving teens and their mental health as they transition from adolescence to adulthood, as well as trained numerous organizations on topics such as implementing trauma-informed care and identifying eating disorders in general mental health care settings.
