About Me

I am an experienced and compassionate therapist. I specialize trauma, complex trauma, and substance use disorders. My first goal in therapy is generally to ensure that you understand your symptoms. We'll not only explore what's happening in your body, but WHY... at least to the extent that our consciousness can understand. This allows us to begin working through your symptoms or traumas from a place of compassion. The reality is, there are probably ways you have benefitted from this way of operating! From that place, beginning to contemplate new ways of showing up feels natural and exciting, rather than forced and shame filled.
