About Me
With compassion and a grounded, personalized approach, I provide counselling using evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), along with my clinical experience. My practice is holistic, strength-based, and rooted in trauma-informed care—always tailored to meet each person where they are. I’ve long been curious about how people make sense of their inner worlds and relationships. Growing up, I witnessed close family members navigate hardships and often felt helpless. That experience deeply shaped my commitment to understanding emotional pain—and how to walk alongside others through it with presence and care. Helping people feel seen, understood, and empowered is at the heart of my work. Outside of therapy, I’m a dog and human mum, a full time plant sitter, and a nature lover. I find joy in the small things and believe that meaningful connection—with ourselves and others—is central to healing and growth.
Education & Experience
I hold both a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Social Work with a specialization in clinical practice. My professional background spans over 16 years and includes experience in trauma healing therapy across diverse settings—from grassroots non-profit organizations to the provincial healthcare system. This broad foundation led to the establishment of my own private practice, where I provide gender-affirming, culturally sensitive, and individualized care to support clients on their healing journeys.
