Jennifer Barrett, LCSW
(she/her)
About Me
I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist who brings a wealth of experience and a holistic approach to my practice. With a strong commitment to individualized healing, I collaborate with individuals of all ages to support them on their personal journeys, helping them honor their past, present, and future selves. My practice centers on decolonial, anti-racist, gender-affirming work that is inclusive and affirming for people of all intersecting identities. I utilize a trauma-informed approach that recognizes the systems that perpetuate harm. I am an advocate and work with clients to dismantle these barriers in order to create space for deep, integrated healing. With a thoughtful mix of contemplative practices, play, art and curiosity, I offer personalized tools that honor each client’s unique needs.
Education & Experience
I am an LCSW and hold licensure in both CT and PA. I am trained in Circle of Security Parenting, Brazelton Touchpoints, Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Mindfulness Meditation.
