About Me

I see clients from a holistic perspective and my work with them integrates mind, body, and spirit. In so doing, I draw on mindfulness, insight-oriented practices, and polyvagal theory. While I offer EMDR for discrete difficulties, my EMDR work with clients is generally geared towards a whole psychotherapy approach. The goals I have for all of my clients are to decrease suffering by improving flexibility and affect tolerance, empowering clients to make healthy choices for their lives, working with clients to learn to express and live authentically, and helping clients move towards thriving, rather than merely surviving. My practice includes EMDR therapy and more traditional psychotherapy for clinical concerns including (but not limited to) depression, anxiety, LGBTQ-related issues, eating concerns, gender dysphoria, relationship problems, trauma, and grief.

Education & Experience

I have a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. I am also a Certified Mindfulness Teacher.
