Education & Experience

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #135515) who has received a B.A. of Psychology from the University of Oregon with internships within several areas of research related to adolescence and substance use. I then received my M.S. of Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and a specialization in Family Mediation within the court system at California Lutheran University. While I currently run a private practice in Westlake Village, California, I have had previous experience providing therapy at the detox and dual-diagnosis inpatient rehabilitation level of care and at the Intensive Outpatient Treatment Center level of care for adolescents struggling with depression, anxiety, and Bipolar I & II diagnoses. Similarly, I have worked throughout the Ventura County school system providing IEP recommended therapy in middle schools and high schools alike, as a sexual assault and rape crisis counselor, as a LGBTQ+ specific counselor, and I have worked as a field-based therapist providing services to high-risk populations including the homeless and the incarcerated. At this time, I have most recently been trained in EMDR in addition to Sexual Assault Counseling.
