About Me

Jennifer Shapiro-Lee, is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-R) and practicing Psychotherapist, Certified Mindfulness and Meditation Instructor, and Mindfulness in the Workplace Trainer. She received her Masters in Social Work from Columbia University. Currently, Jennifer is the founder and director of a private psychotherapy group practice located in Roslyn, NY that works with individuals, families, and couples on all mental health matters. She has been recognized by business achievement organizations for her work and appears regularly on media outlets to discuss the power of therapy. Jennifer is trained in EMDR therapy, CBT therapy, DBT therapy, family systems therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. Jennifer is passionate about helping people who had trauma. She has worked in various settings including clinics, hospitals, and private practices. Jennifer has extensive experience helping people who have been through trauma, seeing the importance of helping them heal, which inspired her to get her EMDR certification.
