About Me
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in trauma and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). My work is rooted in deep respect for the human capacity to heal, and I integrate a range of modalities including EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, ego state work, the Distancing Approach, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), in which I’m trained at Level 3. I’m also a certified hypnotherapist and a Ketamine-Assisted Therapy provider through Journey Clinical. I’ve found that when used intentionally, altered states of consciousness can open powerful new doors for healing and self-compassion. Outside of the therapy room, I present internationally and consult with clinicians who want to deepen their skills in trauma-informed, experiential work. Whether I’m supporting a client in navigating OCD, complex trauma, or deep emotional stuckness, or mentoring another therapist, I care most about being fully present, real, and attuned. My approach is integrative, relational, and grounded in the belief that transformation happens in connection—with ourselves and with others.
Education & Experience
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 32 years of experience supporting individuals navigating trauma, OCD, anxiety, and life transitions. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Connecticut and bring an integrative, somatic, and relational approach to therapy. I’ve completed Level 3 training in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and am trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, ego state work, and the Distancing Technique. I’m also a certified hypnotherapist and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) provider through Journey Clinical, integrating these modalities to deepen healing. In addition to clinical practice, I present internationally, consult with clinicians, and supervise graduate students and early-career therapists. I believe healing happens through connection—with ourselves and the parts of us we’ve had to protect—and I strive to create a safe space for transformation.
