About Me
Dealing with personal issues and upsetting or traumatic events should occur in a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment. Understanding the complexities of life events and identities that influence you now, we will create an infrastructure to process difficult memories or experiences with EMDR Therapy. Many of the people who come to see me have the experience of childhood emotional or physical abuse or neglect, sexual abuse or adult sexual assault, other trauma, depression, anxiety or bipolar. Many speak about issues related to sexuality and their sex lives. Some of my clients identify as LGBTQ+, Indigenous or BIPOC and their intersectionality including those identities influences our work. In private practice since 1999. My EMDR training began in 1998.
Education & Experience
Human Services Counsellor Diploma from George Brown College. M.Ed. in Counselling Psychology from OISE/UT. Additional post grad training in Couple and Family Therapy (Registered Marriage and Family Therapist). Ongoing training in EMDR Therapy.
