About Me
Jesse works with a variety of clients including children, adolescents, adults and families, and has worked as a therapist in the Rockford area in child welfare, schools, and as a trauma educator. She is a nurturing and strength-based therapist who treats trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, self-harm, abuse, foster care and adoption, communication and social skill building, sibling issues, self-esteem issues, and attachment-related issues through uses of trauma-informed therapy, EMDR, play therapy, sand tray, mindfulness, movement, cognitive-behavioral therapy, psycho-educational, and evidence-based practices and interventions.
Education & Experience
She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who earned a Masters in Education Degree in Counseling from Northern Illinois University in 2013, and has been working as a counselor for the past ten years in the community and private practice.
